Sapphire Jewel Gemstone Labrador Retriever Puppy Female

Location:
Bellingham, WA
Description:

Hi, I am Sapphire! I am a very sweet, loving, gentle Labrador and Shepherd mix girl in search for my forever home. My estimated date of birth is June 20th, 2023. I was rescued, along with my mom and eight siblings, from under a house in a rough neighborhood. Mom struggled to keep us fed, but she was so good at it that we were not skinny when we were found. Mom sure was though! We got into a great rescue and our foster home took care of all our medical needs. We got to experience good food, medications, vaccines, and air conditioning – what a great invention! We have thrived in our foster home and we spend our days playing, eating, and napping. Foster dad has even started crate training us and we love it! We are siblings, so we are similar in many ways, but each of us has something a little bit unique about us. What we have in common is we are all good puppies and do not like to soil where we play, sleep, or eat. Therefore, mom taught us to go potty far away in the yard and then come back to join everyone again. We are all very good at holding it overnight as we are crated, which foster dad appreciates very much. So, what is unique about me? I am the one that loves to be picked up and held the most! I know that getting picked up means I get extra love and usually something tasty to eat! On 8-29-23 at the age of ten weeks I weighed 8.9 pounds, but I am growing rapidly! I am looking for a home that wants to help me develop into a very good adult dog, providing the patience, consistency, and positive reinforcement that I have come used to in my foster home. It is expected that I will be about 50 pounds when fully grown, so please have the adult-sized version of me in mind when adopting. I want to be an integral part of the family, going on errands, vacations, hikes, and out to visit friends – especially if they have dogs to play with! Continued socialization with good adult dogs is very important for me at this age, so please make sure I get regular play dates. I hope you watch my adoption video, where you see foster dad admit I am his favorite! He loves all of us, but I know he loves me the most. If you think I might be a good fit with your family, please do not hesitate to contact my adoption coordinator and fill out an application for me. I look forward to being with you soon!Application link: https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/64fe4d6bec401145e1001116 Please email XXXX@threelittlepittiesrescue.org with any questions. Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This dog you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption. We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dog’s needs. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these special perks: • 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion (must register within 24 hours of first vet appt.)• A free private online dog training session with GoodPup plus low pricing for future sessions (approx $25 weekly for an 8 week course of one session per week)• One free bonus toy in every BarkBox when signing up for their Super Chewer subscription plan• 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a PNW based, organic fresh dog food loaf meal subscription plan• Coupons for a fun visit to Petco • Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup!
