Meet Chief, a very loving three-year-old purebred Siberian Husky looking for a new family to love near El Paso, Illinois. He's always ready to join you on a new adventure and is never far from your side (especially if you have a treat-filled kong toy)! Chief is friendly and outgoing, but he needs an experienced dog parent who can work with him to help him overcome some of his resource-guarding issues. He would be happiest with another dog to play with and is great with adults and older children.Chief needs lots of active exercise (at least 2 hours each day), mental stimulation, and attention, so he's best suited to someone with a very active lifestyle and plenty of time. Although Chief is in Illinois, he is willing to travel for love—love knows no distance!
