Harmony is a 1.5 year old, beautiful, black German Shepherd and who weighs 60 pounds, has been spayed and is Heartworm negative. Dropped out in the country, she was taken in by an older woman who chained her to a tree. This beautiful girl is energetic and loves to play with anyone who will run with her that chain was a terrible sentence of pain and confinement . Watching her now, as she plays with careless abandon and confidence, it is hard to believe she is the same dog that came to us just weeks ago. She is a favorite of my grandchildren as she is good on a leash and very smart and responsive. She would be a great student in obedience classes as she is sensitive and eager to please.She walks right by the cat and has good manners in the house. But like most dogs, she is scared of guns and loud noises and will run to the house where she feels safe.One of the most interesting and endearing things about Harmony is the very calm and intelligent way she will look into your eyes. You just sense that she has a story to tell and would also like some questions answered. If you have always wanted a black Shepherd, ppleaseconsider this amazing diamond in the rough.
