FIV+DOB:7/8/2017 I came to Colony Cats from a life of trying to survive outside after a kind person noticed I had hurt my front paw. When I got to the shelter it was discovered that I have a crush injury that is unable to be fixed. I'm grateful it wasn't bad enough that I had to lose my arm but they tell me I won't ever be able to use my front paw again. This did end my dream of becoming a world famous cat pianist but otherwise hasn't slowed me down. I love to hop up and greet all the new people who volunteer in our intake area and charm them with my soulful blue eyes and friendly disposition. While I was getting my checkup, the vet also told me my bloodwork told them I am FIV+. They said this isn't a death sentence it was considered at one point, it just means my immune system doesn't work perfectly so I will need a little extra support staying healthy. I'm hoping to find an adopter who can accept me for the way I am and give me a good home. If you would like to give me a chance, I would be delighted to meet you.
