Broughton Redbone Coonhound Adult Male

Broughton is a handsome 2-year old male Redbone Coonhound mix who was brought to the HSOV on October 26, 2023 after he was found in the vicinity of the former Broughton's Dairy facility on State Route 26 near Marietta Ohio. Broughton was wearing a pink collar but, unfortunately, there was neither an id tag nor a dog tag on his collar .. And he was not microchipped. This gorgeous guy has a reddish-brown coat with a large patch of white on his chest, white paws, a long tail, and a beautiful Hound face with dark brown eyes, a dusting of white on his muzzle, and large floppy ears. Broughton was a happy boy when HSOV Volunteer Emma Dahlgren leashed him up and gave him some extra TLC/exercise while he had his Petfinder/Facebook photos taken late in the afternoon on October 27th. Broughton weighs 65 lbs and has a slim, trim figure. We will post additional information about Broughton when his intake procedures are complete. In compliance with the Ohio Revised Code, Broughton was held for three days so that his family would have an opportunity to reclaim him with proof of ownership. As of today (October 30th), nobody has called or came looking for this good-looking dog.If you have any questions or would like to adopt Broughton, please reach out to the adoption group directly.
