Hellllloooooo! Minnesota! I'm Jerry a stray from the great state of Texas! I was running around trying to make my way in a world where I wasn't really wanted. People would throw things at me and even shoot at me to get me to go away! Eventually I found myself on my way to a shelter, but don't feel bad for me, no way! I met my best furriend ever Maya while I was there and it changed my life! I was bonded from her from the beginning! I would follow her wherever she would go! It wasn't long before we ended up on a transport headed North! It was a long drive and it got soooooo cold! When we got to the Humane Society I was pretty stressed out and the only thing that was familiar to me was Maya! It has taken a while for me to come out of my shell but I am now showing everyone here my personality! I will bounce around and play out in the snow but I do want to come back in asap! I get along with some other dogs, I would do fine with children who are gentle with me, and if I have some time and supervision I could get along with cats too! I know how to sit and I am housebroken. I know that going for walks would be a lot of fun but I will need some training on how to walk nice on a leash! I just love to run into my bed and settle in for a little rest and relaxation! Everyone here likes me so they give me blankets and toys to play with! I haven't come out of my shell enough to toss toys around yet. I do like an occasional rawhide and when no one is looking I will nibble on it! Would you like to help my story come full circle? Come into the shelter and sit with me for a while. It may take a few visits but I promise you I am worth it! Just bring me some treats and tell me what a good boy I am! It is going to be the best day EVER when I get to move into my furrever home! I just know that with love and the right family I have the potential to be one great dog!
