Meet Abigail! Abigail, aka Abby, is the best girl. She is about 2 years old, 35 lbs, house trained, leash trained, and an overall easy, sweet housemate. She's had a bit of a rough go in her first two years - coming into rescue, escaping, having puppies under a house, and, finally, being found and brought to Freedom Ride Rescue. But, that was not the end of her story! Since she's been with Freedom Ride, she has raised 4 adorable puppies, been spayed, and gone through heartworm treatment! Suffice it to say, Abigail is ready for her loving, peaceful forever home!! Abby is looking for an active household with no kids or older kids (young kids scare her a bit). Abby loves a walk (or jog!) more than anything and get very excited for her morning walk. But, while she has the energy to go on long walks, she is very quiet and chill in the house, spending most of her days curled up on the couch snoozing. She is a bit shy at first around new people but warms up quickly in calm settings. Once she's comfortable, she a love bug and just wants to chill by your side. She is treat-motivated and very smart (though she's in a home with terrible dog trainers!). She loves her two foster sisters but needs appropriate time and introductions when meeting new dog friends.
