She's an absolute sweetheart!!! She wants to be snuggled and loved at all times! She gets jealous if other pets are getting attention and she will push them out of the way to get her turn! She's also big on giving endless kisses! She loves to play! She loves toys and playing fetch (very mild fetch with that back leg) but she acts like a puppy when she chases after a ball! She's really good at communication. She has not had any accidents at ALL since being at my house. She will always tell me when she needs to potty, and she can hold it all night long! She is also really good about telling the other pets in the house when she needs space. She communicates when they're too close to her. She does herd the cats in the house a little bit, but it's provoked by the cats getting her all stirred up to play lol! She has a very soft bark and only barks if she feels there is a threat to the house. She saw her own reflection in the window one night and let us know she saw something moving LOL! She's AMAZING with other dogs (large or small), cats, men, and women. I would recommend a home with older respectful kids. Age: 8 Breed: Corgi, Basset, Shepherd Mix Weight: 40lbs Kid-friendly: Yes but older - she has arthritis and doesn't like her rear legs touched. Dogs: Amazing! Cats: She does herd the cats in the house a little bit, but it's provoked by the cats getting her all stirred up to play lol! Crate trained: Yes! Potty trained: Yes! Health concerns: Medication for arthritis Adoption fee: $375 As a rescue, we provide the care, procedures and testing that is available to us. Adopters will be responsible for continued preventatives, follow-up appointments, and medications (if applicable). At times, adopters will be responsible for procedures not completed in rescue (dentals, bloodwork, etc.) Your new dog will receive their rabies and distemper vaccine, heartworm test and microchip. $50 discount for seniors (65+) and veterans. Adoption fees help pay for the dog's veterinary exam, vaccinations (rabies and distemper) HW test, a microchip, and spay/neuter if needed and additional health needs specific to each animal. Grey Face Rescue does not adopt outside of Minnesota for now. We apologize for the inconvenience. We do not adopt animals to families whose current pets are not up-to-date on vaccinations or not altered.
