Mika is a sweet 15-year old female kitty who was surrendered by her owner on October 19, 2023 along with her companion Boo (a 3-1/2 year old neutered male Tuxedo kitty) because their owner was no longer in a position to take care of these beloved pets. Mika has a dark brown tabby short smooth coat with a patch of white on her chest, white markings on her legs, a long ringed tail, and an adorable face with jade green eyes, a brown velvet nose, a splash of white on her muzzle, and long white whiskers. This beautiful senior citizen has an affectionate, easygoing personality and loves attention. She has shared a large cat tower with Boo since their arrival so that they could provide a sense of security/companionship for each other .. So we know that Mika gets along well with other kitties. Mika has already been spayed. She has also been front paw declawed and had been an exclusive indoor-only kitty. Mika weighs approximately 7 lbs and isn't a very large girl. She has faithfully used her litterbox in our shelter. UPDATE: Mika went home with a compassionate foster dad on November 11, 2023 who offered Mika the comfort/freedom of a real home environment while she waits for someone to adopt/rescue her permanently.
