This is Braxton. His fosters kept him until he was neutered and this is what they had to say about Braxton."We found Braxton alone on a back country road where he had been abandoned. He had no collar on and was very thin and shy. He followed us home as we were walking our dog and have since tried to find him a forever home. Braxton is very loving and timid. He gets along well with cats. He gets along very well with people. He is very smart and can open doors that have a lever handle. We have spoiled him a little by letting him sit on our couch and occasionally sleep on our bed. He is very nervous and leery of sudden movements when you pet. He has gotten better over time. He is still very young and needs a lot of kindness, understanding, and gentle training. We have kept him in a fenced in backyard and walk him with a harness. Like any abandoned dog he was confused and disoriented in new surroundings and we have done our best to make him comfortable and save. He loves being petted and will lie at your feet for hours. He eats very well twice a day. We feed him at 7 o'clock am and 4 o'clock pm. The only reason we are not keeping him is we are retired in our 70's and we just can't give him the attention and exercise he deserves and needs. I know whomever adopts this little guy will come to love and enjoy him and his playful personality.He is housebroken. He had one accident the first night with us and he has since gone to the door and barked wo be let out.
