Meet Acorn, he is a 1 year old male cat who arrived at the shelter on 10/27/23 as a lost boy together with his brother Birch. Birch has now been acopted. Acorn currently weighs 8 lbs. Acorn is UTD on vaccines and will be neutered, microchipped, and combo tested before adoption. Please visit him at CAGE 659, ID 650347. Please note, all of the pet listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers, not shelter staff. If this pet came in as lost (not an owner surrender), we don't know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When calling the shelter about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER, names are oftentimes made up by volunteers. Shelter hours are: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m, CLOSED Mondays & Holidays. You can also show up between 10:30 & 4:00 Tues. thru Sun. (shelter closes at 4:30), you might have to wait a few minutes until someone can help you. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heart worm or combo test and a microchip. When you book an appointment, it doesn't reserve a particular pet for you.
