Back in April, Cleo came to AFOJ underweight, shy and terrified on loud sounds, hands, and men. With a little bit of time, love, and trust – Cleo has become the biggest love bug once she feels safe. Without knowing about her past, we were able to understand she was quite emotionally neglected, so new experiences can be a bit challenging at first (especially when meeting a new dog or human on a leash). However, with another dog in the house, she can see that things aren’t as scary and will quickly ‘initiate the zoomies’ all around! While she’ll prefer to sleep RIGHT next to you, she is crate trained, potty trained, and knows her commands flawlessly. Since she is a Pointer/Hound mix, she is an excellent finder of all critters and things! Her energy is limitless – and so she would thrive in a home with an active family with another active dog! Back in April, she did get spayed and a few months later, has been experiencing urinary incontinence from the procedure (which is common as 1 in 5 female dogs experience this). So, with an easy chewable twice a day, she hasn’t had any accidents since! ##1239505##
