Nothing is sweeter than smelling a buttercup in the height of spring! We can proudly say that this kitty is just as delightful! Buttercup is a beauty in more than ways than one! Her gorgeous fur is just as silky and soft as it looks! She's also just as squishy! Not that we would smoosh any kitty... no... never! It might not be hard to believe that Buttercup was once owned by someone before coming to LCCR. However, her previous owners decided to move and leave her outside in the harsh environment. She was forunately spotted by a volunteer at LCCR who was caring for her while she was outside. Buttercup eventually was able to come inside and was moved to a foster home. Now that she feels safe, she's ready to find another family who's willing to give her all the hugs and kisses they can muster! There's something enticing about Buttercup that we can't put into words. Perhaps it's the way she will run up to you whenever she wants some loving. Or maybe, it's the way she plops herself down for a rub down. Either way, she must have her own force of gravity because no one can get away from her without wanting to return to her side! Just don't fall for her "come run my belly" tricks! Otherwise, your hand is fair game! The only thing that can tear her away from you is a good window seat! She can spend hours just sitting by the window and look outside at the world! Buttercup has so much love to give, so we think it's best that she is an only cat. However, she seems to do alright with calm dogs! Buttercup's adoption donation is $115 and includes age-appropriate vaccines, dewormer, flea treatment, Felv/FIV testing, microchip, and spay.
