Gunner is a 1.5 year old, loyal, playful, active boy who loves to play fetch, tug-of-war, run alongside you on a bike and go to the dog park. He loves to be around people he knows and other dogs too. He can be wary of strangers so he could make a great guard dog or even hunting dog. When not running or zooming, he loves to cuddle up on the couch and snuggle his humans. When the weather is nice, he also loves to sunbathe in the yard. He is eager to please and likes to run through his plethora of tricks, especially if food is involved. He is not fond of small children who want to push his buttons, but he would do well with teenage/adult children and experienced adults who are active and outdoorsy. He needs a big yard and other dogs around to play with. He has not had any formal training, but he is very smart and a quick learner. We have not had issues with training him something new. We acquired Gunner from a neighbor that was fostering him from Colorado Puppy Rescue about a year ago.
