Meet Honey Bee, a gorgeous five-year-old, 55 lb. lab/pit mix who came to Connecticut from South Carolina after being found as a stray. She was just hours away from being euthanized before we scooped her up and brought her on her freedom ride up north. Honey Bee is as sweet and affectionate as her name implies! She just wants to be with her person and yearns for human attention and love. Honey Bee can never get enough pets, belly rubs, and snuggles. She is super friendly with everyone she meets and just wants to be part of your world. Honey Bee is laidback, but can also be silly and will zoomie around the yard during playtime. She likes other dogs, as long as they're calm and respect her space. She amazes us with how she can climb a fence so she cannot be left unattended in a yard - and yes, she can even jump a 6ft. fence! Being a flight risk is really her only flaw so you just have to be careful and diligent when outside. Honey Bee does well when meeting children and is so friendly with everyone she meets. She is crate/housetrained too and will make a wonderful companion! Honey Bee just needs someone to give her a chance. Please consider visiting this precious pup and making her a part of your hive.
