While we suspect she might have some Labrador in her mix, in the world of rescues, making definite breed calls is always a bit of a delightful mystery. She currently weighs 16 lbs and we think she will be a medium sized dog. Despite her playful nature, Amber knows how to unwind. She's a TV couch potato gal, happy to curl up with you for a cozy evening. Belly rubs are among her favorite activities, and she'll gladly offer her tummy for some tender affection. She's not just a pup; she's a bundle of boundless joy waiting to bring endless happiness into your life. Amber's at that golden age where training shapes lifelong habits, and she's eager to soak up all the guidance and love you can offer. She is already 95% potty trained, and is crate trained. While still in the learning phase, Amber is making strides in walking on a leash. Her eagerness to learn and please makes her a joy to train, and with a little patience and positive reinforcement, she's sure to become a leash-walking pro. Amber is still young so she will need a family that can commit to training, socialization and all the dedication puppyhood requires. Her new family will need to continue with potty and crate training and daily exercise. We require a commitment from adoptive families to crate train their new puppy. Our PNW dogs are brought to you in style by a beautiful USDA licensed semi-truck, equipped with air conditioning for comfort, two drivers, and 2 onboard attendants providing 24 hour care. Our East Coast route will travel in a private, air conditioned 3LP-run van transport. Pick up day is unforgettable! You will get to follow along on their journey through a private FB Event page, where you will see photos, have the opportunity to connect with other adopters, and receive updates and constant communication along the way. One of our Adoption Coordinators can help to find the closest transport pick up location to you! The adoption fee is $750.00 and includes all vetting as recommended by our doctor: DAPP (2 to 4 depending on age and time in the program), Bordetella, Rabies vaccine (if old enough), multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, 2 months of heartworm preventative, extended medical such as dentals, eye surgeries, and orthopedic surgeries prior to adoption when suggested by our partner vets, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar for dogs over 4 months old, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and many priceless years of love and loyal companionship! *WE ARE TOLD THAT WE GO ABOVE AND BEYOND MEDICALLY. This is the feedback we tend to get, although we cannot guarantee perfect health. *To fully vet a dog in the PNW at many vets it would be upwards of $1,800 just to fix, vaccinate, chip, etc. The adoption fees charged by our rescue do not cover our expenses medically for each animal, but we offset costs with donations.
