Hi there everyone and Happy Holidays to you all! My name is Maxine and the reason I have this curious look on my face is because I ended up at a really terrible shelter where I was scared to death and honestly I was endanger of being euthanized. I was terrified and had been trapped by some people I didn’t know and taken to this terrible concrete place with terrible cold floors and cells like a jail. My foster mom felt so sorry for me when she visited the shelter and she pulled me out of that cold place and has been helping me learn to trust and love people like my foster momma. I really want to find a family that will help me understand that I am loved and will never hurt me. I am relaxing every day and everyone says that I am a pretty girl that has the most fabulous ears that go forever. I dream of having a forever soft, warm bed to cuddle in with my person who will protect me forever. I’m a quiet little girl that is only 2 years old and 24 pounds. I have been spayed, UTD on my vaccines and preventives and I am HW negative. I will be good in a quiet, very mellow home. I do well with other dogs and maybe one that is confident and trusting could help me get there faster. I can be the only dog but my human will need to be patient for me to relax all on my own. I know my best family or person is out there! I just need to find them and trust in them!!
