This beautiful girl is Holiday. She was surrendered to the shelter, along with her bestie, Woodstock, in a callous way. Overnight on 12/15 they were tied up at the front of the shelter in the cold and watched as their people drove away and left them. They chewed through their leashes, but luckily stayed close by and staff were able to bring them to safety in the morning. You can see the sadness and confusion on their sweet faces. These dogs give each other comfort and we'd love nothing more than for them to be adopted together. Both dogs know several commands including sit and lay down. Do you have room in your heart and home for Holiday and Woodstock? Holiday is approximately 6 years old, and she weighs 64 lbs. She is UTD on vaccines and spayed; she will be microchipped, and heartworm tested upon adoption. Please come meet Holiday in run 90; her ID # is 652490. If this pet came in as lost (not an owner surrender), we don't know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained.
