Meet Rue! Hey, y'all, my name is Rue! Are you ready to hear about the sweetest girl who has gone through some not so sweet times? Well, have a sit down and read a little about me! Let's start with the good. I'm a super good girl, and as a senior, I've got my pottying outside down to a science. I'll even let you know with a bark when I'm done out there! I'm about 40 pounds and get along with other dogs and cats, too. I lived with a bunch of them in my past. I live with a really little human right now, so I think I'd do well with small humans who are nice to me. The not so nice things about my past are that I was originally part of a welfare investigation but was dumped with another dog. Some of my behaviors at the shelter that found me say I wasn't taken very good care of. I would go into the dog house when I was out in the yard and stir up the straw in there like I was looking for some warmth. But now I'm told I'll never have to worry about that stuff for the rest of my life! I'm a really gentle girl, and I only want to make my humans happy. I know how to sit when you tell me to, but when you leave, I'll try to follow you out the door so I can be with you. I enjoy car rides and attention. I'll lay by you on the couch, and I'm enjoying finding out what the finer things in life are! I probably never knew what a dog bed or toys were, and now I get to see for myself what all the talk is regarding those things! Now I just need to find my forever people who are willing to show me how great life can be. Are you ready to be my forever?
