I am Chico and I am the Man! Ok, I'm a little man, about 9 lbs, but still, I feel bigger than I am. They say I'm really cute, and I love my foster dad, but it does take a little time for me to warm up to new people. My previous mom was homeless and had to give me up. I was very protective of her, and that's all I know how to be for now. After giving my foster dad a hard time for a couple days, now I love to sit in his lap and lick his ears. Sounds great, huh? Another thing: I was used to human food, but I'm learning to eat “canine cuisine” little by little. In other words, I'm a work in progress, but did I mention I'm really cute?
