Ariel is not only a beautiful cat, she's also unique! She has a small black "beard" and a short tail and looks very similar to a Japanese Bobtail, even though that breed isn't reflected in her DNA report. She's half American Domestic Cat with lower percentages of Norwegian Forest Cat, Highlander, Scottish Fold, and Siamese/Oriental Cat. At 21 months, Ariel really isn't a kitten any more, but she's still energetic and curious. She loves to play, and "the zoomies" are part of her daily exercise routine. She has also become very affectionate and loves to cuddle in her foster mom's lap. Ariel was rescued with her sister, Abby, and both are currently being fostered in a home with two other cats. Ariel gets along with everyone. If she isn't adopted with Abby, she would do very well as a companion for a cat (or cats) already in the adopter's home. The HPC adoption process involves a foster period (to ensure a good "fit") before the adoption is finalized. Since HPC visits the home during that time, potential adopters need to be in the Bradenton/Sarasota (Florida) area.
