Sweet Penny has been at the farm for just over about three weeks. I'm not sure I"m ready to see her go just yet but just in case someone is looking for an "off the shelf" ready to go doggo, Pen might be your gal. Penny's family moved and couldn't take her with them. She is a well rounded 5-6 year old shep/hound. She came in hot and made Dash cry with an initial "don't mess with me" attitude but warmed up quickly once she knew she was in good company. Now they are bestie hound buds terrorizing all the rodents.While she likes to chase things that run I don't think she would harm a kitty, our farm cat hasn't offered to find out for us just yet. She is completely house broken, great recall, croons some hound tunes, knows all the doggo tricks and loves the water. She would be fine as a solo dog as she doesn't need another pup for entertainment but would be good with another dog as well. She doesn't need to be crated when left alone in the house or at night.Pen Pen has been diagnosed with Lyme's but this is completely manageable and not expensive for treatment. She's spry and youthful while also easy and relaxed - just an awesome gal.If you are interested in meeting and/or adopting this baby, please fill out an application.
