Kadet had a bit of a rough past before he came to the Center. Due to an old gunshot injury, he sometimes walks with a slight limp. Despite this, Kadet has a positive attitude, is a volunteer favorite, and is an active dude! He enjoys his walks and is friendly towards new people. When you’re walking with him, you’ll never miss a squirrel or a lizard, no matter where they’re hiding.Kadet is always excited to see his people and is easy to leash up. In addition to some outdoor activity, he really enjoys relaxing in the AC and getting ALLLLL the booty scratches and ALLLLL the treats. He’s just a huge snuggle bug that wants to squeeze his 70 lb body onto your lap. Kadet could potentially live with a doggie friend but would like a meet and greet at the Center first. Kadet is house trained and so ready for his new family or person to take him home!
