Mephis is new to CHS. This girl came into the shelter origonally as a stray and her previous owner chose not to come and pick her up. She was pretty stressed upon her arrival. She is doing much better in the kennel now. We have found out that she is Three years old, she weighs in around 55lbs. She is very dog social and does not seem to mind cats.The things we will be looking for in Mephis's new home is a secure fence, she is known to be able to get out of a 6 foot tall kennel that isn't covered. We will be looking for a family that is going to let her be part of the family. Someone who is looking for a companion. If we were to place her with another dog we would be more comfortable that it is a male dog that is approximate to her size. She has had some training, however she is going to need some positive reinforcement to polish the skills that she has. Once we have an approved adoption application on file, we will then schedule a time for you to come and meet her.
