Nancy is a healthy young homer pigeon. We suspect she was bred to be a ceremonial release ''dove'' and then abandoned because her feathers are not all white (she has a cute brown spot on her left wing). Nancy was lucky to find her way to the deck railing of a kind Oakland family who took her in and found Palomacy to help.
