The dogs Arcadia Animal Rescue saves are mainly located in southern states, such as NC, SC, TN and TX. We can transport to most states, through partner networks. Virtual meet n greets can be arranged for all non-local adopters. Need Foster/Adopter ASAP!! Sweet Izzy found herself dumped, through no fault of her one at an overcrowded kill shelter in TN. Izzy is about 2 yr old, weighs 42 lbs and is just super sweet, very loving and friendly! She loves to chase toys, play fetch and run around. She is such a sweetie, she meets everyone in a friendly way. She has a lot of energy, so an active family would certainly help her expend that energy! Izzy needs a confident pack leader to continue her training. She has working breed DNA mixes in there, so very trainable but she will need plenty of physical and mental stimulation daily, a family with experience in working breeds is preferred. Recent field trip volunteer reports: "When I first saw Izzy again she was pulling and jumping against her leash to get to me. The vet tech said she remembers you and can’t wait to see you again. She jumped up and gave me hugs. She jumped into my car back seat and immediately stood on the console and gave me kisses. Once we started driving she settled in the back seat. She still needs training walking on a leash. When we got to the park she was so excited. She immediately tries to run but realizes she is on a leash. She listens well to my voice."
