What My Foster Says About Me:Joey can be nervous, particularly around new people and especially around young children. He will come and say hello to visiting adults and older children. Joey is not a dominant personality, but rather passive. With me, Joey is very very affectionate. He loves to be held, petted. Joey does great with my resident cats. Cat Vetting Requirements: Your kitten may not be fully vaccinated upon adoption. You will be responsible for providing whatever remaining vaccines are needed to complete the kitten vaccine series. TO ADOPT: The adoption fee for adult cats is $200 ($350 for two cats adopted together). The individual responsible for the dog you are interested in adopting - a position we call the “adoption coordinator” - will then set up a time to discuss your application over the telephone. The adoption coordinator will check your vet reference to make sure all current and past pets were kept up-to-date with their shots and medical care. The adoption coordinator will also set up a home visit with one of our trained volunteers. That individual will come to your home to ensure that it is a safe environment, to confirm that everyone in the home is on board with adopting a dog, and to discuss any other questions you may have about dog adoption!Shelter locationOur adoption events are held each weekend.
