Your dog would never wake up one day and decide that they no longer want to be in your life. They would never back a bag and leave or tell you you're not good enough...This is Mac! Mac was brought to ARC as a stray who was never claimed. We can't believe no one ever claimed him as this sweet boy is such a loveable dog. He absolutely loves people and is always so happy! His energy and happiness is infectious, instantly putting a smile on the face of anyone he meets. He's an estimated 3 year old, Pit mix. He's handsome, I mean, look at those ears. He's the whole package deal! Mac's ideal home would be one that is dedicated to continuing training him, and of course full of love. Staff have been working with him on his basic manners and he's been walking well on a leash. Mac is open to meeting other dogs (a meet and greet would be required at our shelter for any potential canine siblings). Understand that ALL animals from Animal Resource Center are spayed / neutered, up to date on vaccinations, have had blood / parasite screening and will be microchipped upon adoption. If interested in adopting an animal from Animal Resource Center after scheduling an appointment to meet them, you must fill out an application and provide a vet reference as well as two personal references. If your application is approved, we will conduct a home visit with the animal to ensure that your home and family members are a good fit for them and you!
