Maka, a 68 pound 5 year-old female who is good with dogs and is housetrained, has been waiting a very long time for a home or foster. Why? She takes time to warm up to people, maybe because not a lot of people were nice to her before she came to us. She was rescued from the OC shelter pregnant, had puppies, they were adopted long ago and Maka has been patiently waiting for a home. Will you be her hero? Looking for the perfect Foster home until she finds her forever Home! Fill out an application today!January 29, 2024, 4:59 pmAdoption processAll of our animals come fully vaccinated and spayed or neutered (if old enough), and microchipped. Puppies and kittens will be spayed/neutered and have all shots when they are old enough. There is an Adoption application, a quick phone interview to make sure it is a good fit, a meet and greet with the dog, then a home check, and an adoption contract. We ask for a $400 donation for adult dogs, and $500 for puppies at the time of adoption so that we can save other dogs from the shelter.
