Happy Howl-idays and Feliz Navi-dog! Meet our very own Santa! Santa is a wonderful pup who we sometimes call Santa Paws or Santa Claus! His one holiday wish is to have a loving home of his own, curled up on the couch next to you. He’s an older gentleman, and he comes bearing many gifts—snuggles, companionship, a really cute face and lots of love! A few of Santa’s favorite things are tennis balls, delicious treats and strolls in the park where he can sniff everything along the way. Here at the Adoption Center, you might find him resting on his cozy dog bed and soft, fluffy blankets. He always enjoys feeling comfortable! If you catch him in a deep sleep, he’ll probably be dreaming about chasing reindeer through the snow! Santa’s ideal home would have comfy spots for him to rest and would not have any stairs that he needs to use. Due to arthritis and limited mobility, he needs to minimize activities such as climbing stairs and taking long walks, so he’d do best living on the ground floor or in a building with elevator access. Santa needs a home with no stairs and/or elevator access. Santa would probably be a good fit for most families. Santa needs to meet other dogs one-on-one first. Our staff would love to help make introductions! An Admissions and Placement Specialist will be able to provide you with information about Santa’s medical needs. Santa is reported to be housetrained. An Admissions and Placement Specialist can give you tips to help set him up for housetraining success. This wise pup who has seen a number of winters, and he wants to spend this one with you!
