Addie Mae is a female American pit bull terrier mix that has been at AWL since 5/14/23. Addie Mae loves to play fetch with squeaky toys, look super cute, and snuggle with her favorite person! Addie Mae is people selective so a meet and greet for all members of the family (people & pets) is required to ensure she's found her perfect match! Addie Mae is looking for her best friend! Could that be you? Addie Mae is available for adoption, to foster, or just simply going out for walks. Come say hi!ADOPTION REQUIRMENTS: MEET & GREET (entire family & pets)Adoption processThe first thing we require the Adopters to do is fill out one of our applications. Once they get that turned into us we call landlords, vets, and references and check to make sure their animals have all been up to date and make sure their landlords( if they have one ) are okay with them bringing home a new animal. We also call the references to make sure they are good animal owners. We will also look at whether or not you have a fenced in yard and how big your yard is ( if adopting a dog). We want to make sure we have the best fit home for the animals. All of our animals have their boosters (adult or puppy). Some are fixed and some are not. We do have a spay/neuter trailer that comes to the shelter at least once a month that spay and neuters our animals.Shelter locationIf you are interested in meeting one of our animals, call the shelter 765-362-XXXX to make sure the animal is still available for adoption.
