Meet Pepper, a 4 year old, 15 lb. neutered Min-Pin mix. Pepper arrived in Harrisburg, PA on New Year's Day with his foster family. Pepper is a happy little guy that loves cats, dogs, and people! He absolutely loves to follow everyone and is a big-time snuggler. He loves a warm lap and a pile of blankies. Pepper loves playing with his toys and is also crate-trained. Pepper was recently surrendered when he displayed symptoms of IVDD in early November, and his elderly mama could no longer care for his special needs. He does not currently show any signs of pain, and he is doing everything in his power to get his back feet under him and keep up with the rest of the pack. He is potty trained, but due to the IVDD, he sometimes dribbles, so we keep a belly band on him to catch the drips between potty breaks outside. He is able to potty independently without intervention from the humans. Pepper does have a wheelchair to assist with his walking, but so far he has been choosing to walk without it. Pepper is heartworm negative, current on vaccines, and is ready to keep living his best life this year while he awaits a furever family.
