This adorable guinea pig guy is very friendly, loves hanging out with his gpig buddy Groucho, eating his hay, wheeking for treats, and napping in the afternoon! Karl and Groucho are looking for their forever home!Karl and Groucho are a bonded pair and they will be adopted together - Karl and Groucho are available for adoption!Pets are complex beings, and we could not possibly share everything about them in a short adoption bio. Prior to adoption, interested adopters will have an adoption counseling with one of our staff members where everything we know about an animal (including known behavioral and medical information) will be shared. The primary caregiver must be a responsible adult, and young children should always be supervised when interacting with your guinea pig and instructed on proper approach and handling.Guinea pigs like lots of roaming space. The larger the cage, the more active they can be! Use plenty of lining material like paper bedding, or scraps of fleece. Guinea pigs eat timothy hay. Provide fresh water every day. Guinea pigs also need hay-based pellets that are vitamin C fortified. Fresh green salads are leafy greens.Your guinea pig will need its nails trimmed twice a month and an annual vet check-up. Guinea pigs typically live six to nine years.
