Hi Mocho here, I am a shy guy who unfortunately spent most of my life locked in a yard with no one to interact with. I am not sure how to act with new people or with other dogs. I am not aggressive, but I am shy, and I will bark. When given some attention I will show affection so in time with the right people I will be a loveable dog. I love to be petted. I play with the kids at my home they are fun, and I am gentle with them. We have cats at home too, but they don’t play much, and I am curious and want to smell them. I have never really had any real toys, but I do like to chew on ropes. I am pretty sure that a ball would be a fun toy too. Car rides a very scary to me, I have not had enough of them to get comfortable. Maybe that is something we could do together.I spend most of my time outside, so I don’t know how to ask to go outside to go potty. But I do go in the same spot every time.I still have lots of things to learn because I never had a chance to be a real dog. There you will see any videos, more photos and details.Adoption processOur adoption process is on our website at: https://hope4lapawz.org/adoption-process/ Once approved, we establish transport for your dog and work out delivery which is usually to an airport near your city (unless you are here in La Paz). Adoption fees are $400 USD and transport fees are typically a flat $300 to any city that Alaska Airlines flies direct from San Diego. Adoptions for dogs to be living in Mexico are $1500 + Transport Fees. Dogs traveling outside of Mexico are certified and have all appropriate documentation, shots, tests, and exams. In addition to the rescuing and medical rehabilitation of these dogs, we have regular training classes for the dogs to encourage socialization as well as leash and crate training while they are in their foster homes awaiting adoption. Our adoption team supplies information, and tools, recommended training books. They also perform periodic adoption follow ups and assistance for adoptive families. We want each of our dogs to be set up for success in their new home. Our goal is to provide adopters with a complete package of rescue, care, and adoption support to promote a successful, happy life for you and your new dog.
