Sydney is such a sweet girl. She was so very nervous and scared when she was first rescued, but has come such a long way. She now loves to snuggle under the covers next to her foster mom and follow her people around the house. She gets along great with other dogs, cats and kids and is already potty trained. She has a bit of separation anxiety, so she would do better with someone that is home most of the time. She is getting more comfortable in a kennel but is still scared outside because of noises (getting better every day). Sydney needs a family that will give her time to trust and feel safe. She will repay your patience with her sweetness! Don't forget to complete your application ahead of time, so you don't miss out on the pup you've connected with. If pre-approved, you have first priority & can usually take home your new best friend the same day! *Please note that there is no obligation to adopt by completing an application.* **All dogs are required to have complete vet services, including shots, rabies, spay/neuter and microchip, which are included in the Adoption Fee. Some dogs may still require completion of these services due to current age, size, breed and/or health. All vet services must be done at the vet clinic used by Once Upon a Tail Rescue.Adoption processWe must have an application for each adopter which must be approved by the rescue before adoption. Completing an application does not obligate you to adopt.Shelter locationWe are foster based, so we do not have a facility to visit, but we do have Adoption Events almost every Saturday at the Covington PetSmart, 45 Park Place Dr., Covington, LA (located off of Hwy 190 next to Home Depot).
