I am a 6-year-old handsome white boy that is an owner surrender due to my owner suffering a medical condition that is requiring me to be rehomed. My sister Dakota is also looking for her forever family and we are littermates bonded since birth and would need to be adopted together. I am described as friendly, shy, active, smart, calm, quiet, inquisitive, affectionate, and obedient. It should be mentioned that I am deaf, but don’t let that shy you away because I have adjusted very well! I rely on Dakota to come get me if something exciting is happening or if it’s time to eat. I am eager to please! I respond to signs that my owners developed (I’m sure they’d be happy to tell you all about them!) and will look at the human when I do anything. I watch their positive or negative signals to know how to proceed with what I am doing. I take signs to tell me to go to bed or leave the room. I even know how to “sit” and “shake hands”. I am dog and kid friendly! I currently live with a 14-year-old kid and I do fine with him. I have never lived with a cat so it is unsure if I am feline friendly. I am house trained, crate trained, and sleep in my crate at night. When the humans must be away, I do great and have my sister to keep me company. When outside I have good behavior and do not dig or attempt to jump fences/gates. I do not like being separated from my sister. Some of my favorite things are riding in the car, playing and rough housing when encouraged, people, and other dogs!
