This 3-year old bully came to us after her owner could no longer care for her. Honeybee, or Bee for short, has a super gentle nature and an even sweeter smile (if that’s possible!). She is a soft pup, inside and out, and her pretty pink skin and heart shaped nose make her a standout in any hive. Bee was previously used for breeding and has had 3 litters in 3 years, but NO MORE. She has been spayed and is ready to live her life as the center of someone’s universe. We assume Bee wasn’t introduced to much in the world because she’s nervous in every new situation and just wants to submissively retreat to someplace safe. But she’s been a brave bee in her foster home and loves consistency. Though shy, she seeks attention from those she trusts and loves being close to her people. Like the stickiest duct tape, Bee is an uber-velcro dog and will gladly be your shadow at all times. Bee has a moderate energy level and totally goes with the flow. She’s up for a strenuous walk or hike but is equally happy to chill at home. She has stellar leash manners, and she would make any show dog jealous with her loose-leash prancing as she buzzes from flower to flower for all the good sniffing. And is an ace at catching treats with soft lips! Like the sweetest honeycomb, Bee ignores the cat in her foster home and has been great with dogs. She just needs a quiet and patient home where her new family of beekeepers will allow her world to remain small as she acclimates to living the good life. In return, Bee will provide love, loyalty, affection, and snuggles galore. Due to Bee’s nervousness, older kids would be best for this sweet bee. Bee’s top priorities: 1. A family with patience, who will allow Bee to explore new situations at her pace. 2. A family who wants a cuddle muffin and craves the closeness of a velcro dog. 3. A family who has a cheerful willingness to help this sweet queen feel at ease in situations that stress her (which may mean avoiding certain situations).
