Farrah is a one year old, 58 pound lab mixed with something gracefully tall and willowy…She’s a very friendly dog and good with other dogs, but like a lot of rescued dogs, she can be protective of her food with other dogs. She lived with another dog and the owner didn’t think they needed to separate dogs when they are eating. The other dog went after Farrah’s food and they got into a scuffle. Guess who got “the boot.” Farrah found herself in a shelter and on the list to be euthanized. A group of dog lovers, advocated for Farrah and her unfortunate situation, created by “owner error,” and we took her in. She’s in boarding and out in play groups and ready for someone (with a brain) to give her a second chance. She is house and crate trained and has a wonderful demeanor with everyone.
