My name is Spike, and I'm a 2 yr old Am Pitbull residing at the Taunton Shelter. My caretakers here call me "Handsome", and I have to admit I quite like that name. I'm partially deaf, but that doesn't hold me back from being a happy and active pup. I love long walks, especially when my human friends are up for some hiking, swimming or even just a leisurely stroll. It would be fantastic if my forever home had a fenced-in yard so we could play together. And if I may be so bold, I'd love to have some toys to call my own. And, if you're feeling generous, a pup cup from DD would be the icing on the cake! I love car rides and exploring new places with my humans. But what I would love most of all is a human to call my very own. I hear the staff at the shelter saying that I would do best as the only child due to my size, but that's just more love and attention for me, right? If you're interested in giving me the forever home I've been dreaming of, I would be honored to invite you to a scheduled play date. I promise I'll show you how lovable and friendly I can be.
