The story is very complicated and her background matches that complication. Not much is known about her prior to being on the transport, and since her admission into Home Sweet Hammy Home she has been learning how to be a hamster who lives in an appropriate setup with lots of food, foraging, activities to do, and love. She will need a patient adopter to continue working with her and helping her realize she's safe and life is good. Solana's name means light, all of the animals from the transport were given names meaning the same to offset the dark situation they came from.
