Nessie is a quiet little country dog. She loves the outdoors, loves hunting but is equally content to just hang out with her pack. Her rescuer is a Good Samaritan who gets a lot of dogs dumped on her property. She can't keep them all but she provides as much love and attention to them as she can. Nessie said she would just like a home of her own. Good with other dogs, not cat tested, and good with kids (she's never met younger/toddler-aged). Nessie is located in Tignall GA where there is no formal animal control facility and very little help for homeless pets. Please be willing to meet in the Athens or Madison, GA area -- which is about halfway between here and their foster (who cares for many and can't be too far from home base). Age: 2 yr Weight: 40 lbs Training: Housetraining in progress and crate-trained. Temperament: Good with dogs and kids, has not met toddlers. Vetting: Spayed, up-to-date on vaccines, heartworm negative and on prevention.
