American Pit Bull Terrier-Huskies Mix Dog for Adoption in Palmer, Alaska, 99654 USNickname: VALENTINE Posted Breed: Husky / Pit Bull Terrier / Mixed (medium coat). Valentine has become a very happy and playful girl! When she first arrived to the shelter she was very shy and now she loves meeting everyone. Valentine is still learning new things, but we are amazed with how much she has learned so far! Valentine is mostly potty trained, we do expect her to do better in a home with a regular routine. She is still working on her leash walking skills, but once she has gotten out all of her excitement she does well! She is an active girl who loves to play. Valentine loves to play fetch with stuffies, which has helped staff teach her the cues âdrop itâ and âcomeâ! She will thrive best with regular exercise - when she does not have a positive outlet for her energy she may become anxious. Valentine has a friendly and playful demeanor when seeing other dogs and loves to play! She has been apart of dog playgroups during her time in the shelter and is very tolerable and submissive! We believe Valentine could do well with a tolerable friend who matches her energy. We can always accommodate a dog meet and greet when needed! It is unknown if Valentine has lived with children and she may be too much energy for some little children. Though she does play gently and is great with handling, she does tend to jump up with excitement. Valentine is eagerly waiting for her forever home and is hoping to meet potential adopters soon!
