I'm so glad to have caught your attention! My name is Xena and I'm single and loving it...but looking for a human. I've shown aggression to other dogs in and out of the shelter setting so I'll need an experienced owner who can keep me in environments and situations where I can be successful. I LOVE to play and cannot wait to start living my best life with you. I know that I can be a great companion to someone who likes to keep their circle small and won't give up on me.Adoption processPre adoption application required, including references, and proof of home ownership or rental permission forthe pet in question. All members of the household are required to visit the pet prior to adoption. In the case of dogs, other dogs in the household must meet potential new dog. Selections are not made on a first come basis, but an overall likelihood of a successful placement based on the application information and meetings. There are fees to adopt and these can be found on our website, www.catsndogs.org.ALL OUR PETS ARE AVAILABLE FOR VIEWING ON OUR WEBSITE www.catsndogs.org.Shelter locationWe are open to the public from noon until 5 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday and noon to 7 on Thursday. We are closed on holidays, Wednesdays and Sundays. We are located at 7001 Packer Drive in Wausau WI.
