Nala is a three-year-old, 50-pound female lab mix that her owner surrendered because she was chasing livestock. The owner got her as a stray when she wandered on their property and had her for about five months. The owner said she was good with other dogs, cats, and kids but had anxiety with strangers. She was very nervous when we got her and untrusting of new people. We have seen her come a long way in the time that she has been at our vet, and we think if someone can be patient and gain her confidence, she will learn to trust and be a wonderful dog.
