Bear is a special boy with so much to offer. He is a big shepherd mix (best guess) weighing in at 85 pounds. Bear was found wandering a neighborhood at just 9 weeks. It was discovered that his family had dumped him in a neighborhood park, but he was found by a new family that totally fell in love! After a year, the family faced a medical issue and can no longer keep Bear. He has grown up around children and other dogs, so he is very social! Bear can sometimes be nervous when meeting adults, but with a little patience and lots of treats, he will warm up fast! Bear was diagnosed with hip dysplasia at a young age, so a super active lifestyle is not for him. After long walks or major play sessions, he can be a little sore. He takes a joint support pill everyday. Even with this, he is the happiest boy around. Please give Bear a chance and help us find his forever home!
