Hi folks, I am now in Canada and ready for a family. Hello! My name is Brownie and here is a little info about me:Breed: Labrador Retriever MixAge: 2 year oldGender: MaleWeight: 44 lbsHeight: 22 in A sweet boy like me would love to be in your arms, giving back the love 10 fold that you show to me. Though I have endured so much, my love is still flowing to give you. I was just rescued by a kind human somewhere in the Middle East. At first my rescuer thought I am dead and was just simply trying to untie the rope around my neck. But then he saw some miracle...I WAS MOVING MY HEAD! I wanted to look into his eyes, but I couldn't because of my burnt eyes! My picture reveals the horrendous extent of human abuse. HOW COULD ANYONE DO THIS TO ME!? My rescuer rushed me to the hospital. After the vet's examination, they found out that aside from my burnt eyes, the person also burnt the tip of my nose, ears and private part. I also had a huge cut on my back which is now healing well. I cant see anymore, as my eyes were too badly damaged and thus removed. I can find my way around with my other super powers though, my nose and ears. Although I keep telling myself not to trust humans ever again, these kind people around me are restoring my faith in humanity. It would be amazing to find a loving forever family to call my own, A family that would love me and accept me for the amazing dog that I am. My rescue human tells me that I am beautiful both inside and outside and I can not wait to love, be loved and really just be a dog without a single worry! ***Update***November 8, 2023: I have now undergone 2 surgeries and am recovering well! However, the vet is concerned that I may need a skin graft and is currently consulting with a specialist for another opinion.
