Hi, I’m Miss Mattie Mae, originally from Memphis. My foster mom keeps telling everyone I am a total southern belle. I’m not 100% sure what she means by that. Maybe it’s because I love to hold hands, or maybe it’s because I am friendly to whomever I meet. Either way, I am just 8 months old which means I still have some of puppy energy and I haven’t met a squeeky toy I didn’t like, but, don’t let that scare you I know “lay down” and enjoy a good cuddle session. I am a 41 pound spayed female and love to keep my figure up with walks. In my foster home I was around three tiny humans and all their friends from ages 2 to 14 and love them. I love to snuggle with the resident dogs but also have no trouble rolling with the big dogs in my foster home. Foster mom feeds us all in our crates and I really like having that space to eat alone. I also went to work 2-4 times a week with my mom and drove in the car daily. I love adventures!! I even met a cat once. He didn’t care for me much, he did this weird sound and it hurt my ears so I backed off. I have been known to dress up in dresses and even my foster sisters headbands. I mean she’s not wearing them, so someone should get good use of them, right? All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home. We require an approved application to meet any of our dogs. We do not have a shelter location and will not arrange a meeting without an approved application. We strive to make sure the bios provided for our dogs are complete and accurate; we do understand that mistakes happen, however, so if you absolutely cannot find the answer to your question in the dog's bio, you can contact us for more information. We require a home visit for each dog we adopt out, so we adopt within a 2 hour radius of Dayton, OH. If you are outside of this radius, we encourage you to contact your local rescue or shelter.
