Batman (male rouen) and Robyn (female khaki) are a friendly duck duo. Each were dumped separately at different ponds. Batman literally ran right up to one of our rescuers in a plea for help! Now they are together and bonded so need to be adopted as pair. They are very sweet birds, easy to handle, and as low maintenance as ducks can be (like all ducks they splash around and make a mess though!). They do require predator proof enclosures to adopt--no full free ranging.Adoption processWe have different applications depending on the species. The duck and chicken applications are on our website (see link in next field)Shelter locationWe do not have adoption events as it is too stressful on highly sensitive birds. Adopters can meet animals in foster homes.
