American Staffordshire Terrier Mix Dog for Adoption in Shreveport, Louisiana, 71136 USNickname: DeDe Posted Breed: American Staffordshire Terrier / Mixed. Adoption Fee: 200. In need of a foster or forever home** DeeDee is the local stray who lived behind Highland hospital for over a year. We rescued her right before the cold weather hit last month. Our girl had a couple foster offers but neither seem to be the right fit. One had a large male dog that didn't want DeeDee in his space :( The other had two tine bossy old lady female dogs and I just didn't feel adding a large female to the mix was the best idea. I'd rather be safe than sorry. She has been with me a while now and I can tell you all about her and what would be best for her. She is the SWEETEST GIRL. She is laid back and chill. She loves to snuggle. She is house trained. She rides good in a car and walks well on a leash. She has a favorite toy :) She does best with male dogs and her favorite friend is my 18 pound Boston mix. She really loves to be with her people and sleeps in bed with my son every night. She will go in her kennel and bark a bit before she settles, she does not love the kennel. She is spayed, UTD on vaccines, recently had FHO surgery. She is heartworm positive but has started the slow kill treatment. She would be perfect as a only dog and she is sooooo easy. She would even be perfect for a stay at home parent or someone who is retired or works from home. She really likes to be with her person/people. Again I want to say she is sooooo easy and so good. She deserves a family of her own to love her forever
