Sloane is a 7-year-old, female, Dutch Shephard mix weighing approximately 60lbs. She was originally found on Lakeside Drive in Rockwall on 09/12/2023 and sadly never reclaimed. Sloane has been looking for her fur-ever family for 157 days as of 02/16/24 and truly cannot wait to be adopted. This girl is super sweet, affectionate, and loves people! She's great with kids and is very gentle while they play with her. She enjoys playing fetch, but she is still learning the "bring it here" part of the game and will have a blast running around with the ball. Sloane seems to prefer having a human companion over a canine one but meet and greets can be arranged if you have another dog in the home prior to adoption. Since Sloane has been a shelter resident for longer than 90 days, she is considered a Diamond Dog with a reduced adoption fee of $75. She is spayed, current on rabies vaccination and basic boosters, microchipped and heartworm negative! Since she is in foster and not currently at the shelter, an online application is required in order to meet with her.
